About Us

REEDS FOOTBALL ACADEMY is a football development initiative by Quartz Soccer Club aimed at the identification and development of football at grass-root level

REEDS FOOTBALL ACADEMY was launched in 2010 under the guidance of Mr. Rakesh M.A, Technical Director of the academy. The Academy training program is designed to encourage each player to reach his full potential as he passes through the development phases.

Our Vision

Our vision is to develop players who are world-class in their technical ability on the field and behaviour off the field. REEDS Football Academy has proved its success at turning young potential into excellence. Over the last 8 years, players like Zubair, Madan, Akshay, Susheel, Bharath, Lalith, Vivek, Abhinav, Sai & Hyder have proved their mettle.

REEDS Football Academy is recognized as one of the leading football academies in India and has developed players year-on-year for Quartz Soccer Club and contributed significantly to the State teams in all age categories.

REEDS holds the honor of fielding an entire squad of 30 players from its Academy at Hyderabad to its parent club Quartz Soccer from 2010 to 2018. Quartz Soccer, a professional Club registered to AIFF via Kerala Football Association is currently playing in Kozhikode District A Division,Kerala Premier League & Kerala Club Football Tournament.

We, at REEDS, design our coaching program with the vision of graduating our academy players to our different age group teams and finally to the senior professional team with the brand of attractive and attacking style of football.

We plan to start a Residential Academy for elite coaching for U13 category (2006-2007 born) by the month of April, followed by U15 & U18.

Coaches

Coaches play a crucial role in the overall development of a player. Our academy coaches are highly motivated and qualified who understand the coaching philosophy of REEDS. Our Academy Coaching Staff includes former professional soccer players, AIFF/AFC/NIS Licensed coaches, Specialist coaches in goalkeeping, fitness and football psychology.
